Credit Card Scam III

It happen to me at LAS VEGAS.
It was the American Express Credit Card.

I only used it during my hotel check-in and out at the [Candlewood Suites] Paradise Road, next to the strips.

Somehow the insider staff, got hold of my card information and an IT [might be an Intel Eng'r] genius got it duped.
Used it during my stay. I should have it check [my card usage on-line] but I don't.

Lucky for me, I got some evidents to proven me innocient during few of the transaction. It even have a few records transaction after I got back to Malaysia.
The American Express company decide to write-off that hugh amount USD $$$ from my statement.

Morale of the story...
1. Inform the present credit center your duration stay / visit.
2. Always keep tab with your up-to-date transaction online.
3. Find a bank that put high security alert on certain transaction amount [eg.Citibank] .
